lowering the car


i got an 02 GT with 315's in the rear. Has anyone lowered it and been alright with clearance before i take it all apart and find it doesnt clear. its going to be a 1.5 in the back

I am running FRPP C springs with 17x 10.5 wheels and 315/35/17 tires. No problem at all. My drop was probably only 3/4" though. But I still say you will be fine. I could have went lower, but hindsight is 20/20.

Not trying to hijack thread but did you install c/c plates with your FRP c springs? I just bought some and I am also going to put some 315s on the back.

I've got 315's on the Eibach Pro Kit and its fine

You dont need CC plates with the FRP C Springs. But anything lower than that and you will need them.
