Lowering Springs

I'm looking into buying some loweing springs so i'd like to know what other experienced mustang owners think would be the best for a reasonable price.

I love my steeda comps...It gives the car a great look...Or if you want a major drop you can go with eibach sportlines...They give 2 inches all the way around I believe...

From what I have seen on the ones I have installed it looks like around 2 inches all around when they settle...They are a great spring just a pain in the arse to do an alignment with...

I love the Saleen Racecraft springs, I installed them on mine and it handles nice, dropped it down about an inch and a half. If you have any friends that have the sportlines, Steeda, saleen or any of those then ride in their car so you can see what the ride will be like. My buddy has the sportlines and it looks great that low but the ride quality is really stiff. It handles nice too though, it's really all on personal preference and what kind of ride height and ride quality that your looking for.

I just put on some Eibachs por kit and love 'em. Buy em off of JEGS they have the best price, their delivery is quick too. The prokit lowered my car about an inch .5 but the sport lines with lower it about 2 inches. If you lower it anymore than 1.5 you need to get caster/camber plates so you can align your car properly. I suggest either Eibach or Steeda. Dont go with cheap lowering springs!!!

I got some dropzone springs from AutoSportz.com for $99.99 + shipping. They lowered my car 2" all around. The ride is great. A friend of mine got the same kit and he hasn't had any problem either. It is low and I do have a hard time getting over speed bumps no matter how hard I try I hit most of the time. Small price to pay because my car looks badass. Do it to it.

They have been good to me so far. But I did have trouble with the alignment. I need to get the camber kit so they can do it properly.

Ive got eibach springs on mine and I love them.Theyre fairly priced and after they went on the car looks and handles a whole lot better. As for how far it depends on how wide ur tires r. U can always buy a less radical drop spring and cut them to lower it more. Ive got just shy of a 2 inch drop in the back and the front is well over 3in. in the front, just shy of the tire rubbing.

My Pics

Go to "Pics Of My Mustang" to see pics of what Steeda Comp Springs will do...

The most dramatic drop is going to be the Eibach Sportlines...

Hope this helps...
