PCM question

PCM question

I dont know if its possible, but is there a way to reference a PCM (serial number or something) to a certain VIN? Reason i'm asking is because i'm trying to figure out if a tune shop ever replaced the PCM or if they just tricked it.

If you look on the side of the PCM housing (the black area) there should be a tag with 4 digits, take that number along with your VIN to your local Ford dealer and they can get the PCM serial number for you
