Time for new Clutch?

I've got 60k miles on my car, most of them with the supercharger. It makes a noise when I push the clutch in or let it out (which I suspect is the throwout bearing?) and I'd really like to not get stranded. I've got the 3650 and I'm kinda curious if anyone here has burnt the stocker out or knows how much abuse it can handle.

Also, are there any improved throwout bearings available?

The stock Ford throwout bearing is what most people use, including with most aftermarket clutch's. Abuse? I've still got the stock clutch and launch w/ slicks at 6000 rpm. 60k miles also. Still feels great. It doesn't hold 100%, I can tell alittle shifting into 4th at WOT but its barely noticable.

Does yours make noise when you push the clutch pedal in or out?

I agree w/ MD, use only the Ford OE throw-out bearing.

I believe only the flywheel is different. Twist will know for sure, he's a expert in this field.

Naw they are all the same. Ford released a TSB about them back a while ago and since updated the part. I have an extra one in my trunk. lol. I used the updated part and it made noise about 8 months later. I put it up because of winter. Ripped it back out and put in another one and no noise since. guess i got a bad one. Oh well. They are cheap.
