3.55s came stock on all 05-newer mustangs.

btw, v6 99-04 has a 7.5" ring gear just do rememeber. and the v8 has a 8.8" ring gear. they will not swap.

3.55s were an option on the 05-08s but not standard. 3.31s are standard.

well i stand corected then. i could have sworn that MM & FF or 50 magazine did a tech article on 31 spline axles, diff and ring gear.....and they upd the gears to 3.73s in a yellow mach1. my bad.

thanks for the update then. learned something new.
