Limited Slip

Yea i have to go to Ford tommorow. TSB on my Limited Slip. Its been giving off this chatter/ vibration noise. I originally thought it was my flowmasters rubbing up on the heatshield, but i was just curious if anyone else had this problem

I have the same thing going on with mine. I only notice it at low speeds and when turning to the right. I really only notice it when I am leaving my addtiion. There is a gradual turn to the right coming up to the stop sign. I was pretty sure it was the trac-lok. It is a 31 spline from an exploder that was rebuilt with heavy duty clutches. Obviously, it didn't like 6000 rpm launches on slicks.

True slicks (MT drags) have no grooves in them at all are only designed for the track. I take them with me and put them on at the track. I wouldn't recommend driving them on the highway. There is not much to them but they will throw you back in the seat on a good launch. Good luck with the Stealership on you TSB. I have so many mods to my car, I don't bother but all the techs fight over who gets to service my car.

Yea i went in and they ordered the parts no problem. They didnt even road test the car, they were that positive thsat it was the problem. Theyre giving me a brand new clutch pack for my limited slip differential. So if anyone has a similar problem, go to Ford and they should take care of it feree of charge. BTW i just bought my Bullitt furl door and finally conformed into paying the 80 dollar price tag. I got some money back from the college i go to for good grades in the law program, so its modding time..
