You mean MIL eliminators I think. You don't want to take out your o2 sensors, your car will run like ass because those are one of the main sensors that the pcm reads signals from for fuel delivery. MIL eliminators will keep your check engine light from lighting because of a catless h-pipe.

You have to either get MIL eliminators or turn the rear o2's off via a chip / tuner.

no, not really. you were talking about the front o2 sensors which ,yes, have to be there.
He was asking and we were talking about the REAR o2 sensors which only monitor the cats and tells the pcm if they're working or not. obviously, if they have been removed, they aren't gonna work right and will turn the ck eng lite on. by adding the mil eliminators to the circuit, it tricks the pcm into thinking they are still present and are working correctly, thus no ck eng light.

Hah, alright I thought what I had a lot of bad information in the passed 6 months here at school. Forgot the 4.6's came with rear sensors. And I was sitting here thinking while I pack my stuff for Virginia how it could run right with the sensors out of it. Knew there had to be something there to send info back to the PCM.

Your car should run fine without them and it will only throw the check engine light on. You can drive it around like that. I would find it extremely annoying. But then what if something serious happens to your car more so than then rear sensors not monitoring cat converters because they aren't there. Whatever it is will throw the check engine light on, but how do you know something happened if it is already on because of MIL elminators, besides dirvability problems.

I got the MIL eliminators for the o/r x-pipe, and about two months later the computer starting throwing a trouble code because the converters were gone. I used my tuner to turn off the rear O2 sensors and haven't had any problems after that.

Wen u get rid of the cats ur check engine light is gona come on and stay on. In order to turn it off ur gona need MIL Eliminators which will run about $40. Or u can use a tuner to turn it off.

If you get a O/R H-pipe and don't use MIL Eleminators or turn the rear O2 sensors off then your car will run like shit. When your check engine light comes on the performance of your car isn't the same they do this so you don't damange anything else when your light is on.

Most radio shacks dont sell the resistors to bypass the O2 sensors anymore. Online they range from 19-60 $ for basicially the same thing.. I got mine here :
http://www.mileliminators.com/

I bought them drunk at 2am on a Monday, they were at my house Wed... They are installed and work great. THey come with directions and a wire diagram. Just be sure and weather proof all your splices otherwise they will rust and your light will come on 12 months down the road.
