4:10's would be fine. a lot of people actually recommend 4:10's for autos to make up for the extra drivetrain loss. you'll be fine with the 4:10's.

buy some cams and send your heads off to get them ported and polished... thats gonna net you the biggest gain besides spray or fi... you should be able to get it done close to 1000
