noise from brake master cylinder...

so the last few days when i drive my car later in the day (never does this in the morning) it makes a weird noise from the master cylinder. kind of squeeks like the inner seal is too dry or something. it doesnt do it in the morning, usually only does it if i go somewhere close when i'm comin back, not going. its not very loud, it's only audible if your stopped, and i if i press the pedal all the way down, it kind of hisses a bit and the engine rpm's drop a bit(like 200 rpm, if that) it never looses pressure, brakes like normal, just makes this noise. anyone ever have this problem or have an idea on how to fix it? my thought is to replace the master cylinder, but i've never heard anything like this before...
