tuner question

I am buying a tuner for my auto, should that be able to tune the tranny to shift like a shift kit , or do i have to get one of those to to get the firm shifts i want, thanks

Yes it will. Auto cars get more out of a tuner than the manual ones do. My X3 made my tranny shift like a champ. Firmed it up and helped line out the gear searching it did at low speeds.

You can change nearly every aspect of auto transmissions in the tune. There are probably about 50 parameters that can be adjusted and tweaked depending on how you want it to drive. You can have hard shifts all the time, or only at 50% greater throttle input. (or even hard shifts only at WOT). Nearly anything is possible. PM for Xcal deals.
