Tuner..Shift Points and Shift Pressure..??!


How do i make the shift points shift exactly at 5200 rpm?? or atleast close.. all it says is Min-----ST----Max and what exactly does the Shift Pressure do??

its not a good idea to mess with the line pressure.

Why not? I do it all the time when tuning, just need to know what you are doing. Your tuner can set all your shift points to whatever rpm you like. You can alter the shift points by mph if you are using an SCT device.

just from the reading I have done on the 470 its best not to mess with the line pressure. didnt say you could not just said its best not. there are several changes you can do to make it perform better.shift points and line pressure are two seperate issues.

So should i put my shift pressure back to stock??
and where should i put my shift points? it goes by mph, Stock then 10 mph+ then 10mph+ or its stock then -10mph then -10mph and so on, right now i have it tuned for around 5100 or 5200 rpm's is that the best area 2 be shifting at??
