Body Kit For 1999 Mustang GT

What body kit should i get for my 1999 Mustang Gt. I was thinking about just getting a cobra front and rear bumper, but I dont really know. Which body kit do you guys think looks best on a mustang??? I know everyone has different tastes and stuff but i just want to know what you guys think looks best.

Thanx

NO BODY KIT!!! THE MUSTANG IS PRETTY ENOUGH!!! but if i were you and really thinking of getting one...than go with the cobra front and rear set up...but make sure ur car can back up its aggressive look! i've seen a couple of guys down herre go with that set up and it looks kool with the gt hood and some good rims.

no body kit. Do you want to be like the ricers? the stock 99-04 gt body is flawless in my eyes.

dude no body kit, just get a mach 1 chin spoiler and mach 1 grille delete and lower your car, plus get some clear corner headlights and some deep dish wheels in the rear, this is a great way to make a mustang look their best to me.

body kits are a huge waste of money in my opinion.

Whew, and to think I was going to get a cobra kit. I didn't know that many people were against them!

Also whos car is that? I think that mustang was sitting outside of steen racing on the day we (www.modmustangs.net) had our dyno day out there...

X2!!!!!!!!!!!! :award

I think that actual body kits that the ricers use are shitty looking but if you stick with Cobra, Saleen and Roush then you'll have a winning combination!

Oh, and for all you who say that the GT is fine stock, thats cool I guess, ya know, if you want to be like the rest of the herd!!!!!! I on the other hand like to stand out in a crowd and not be mistaken for another plain jane GT, but, that's just me!

Anyway, everyone keep up the good work on your stangs and go with your own personal taste and style not everyone elses!!!!!!!!!!!

i f you want a body kit pick up a mustang magazine and look through it, they have lots of choices. i have been thinking about putting on a different front clip, mines got some scatches, and i want something aftermarket. so just look through some mags and see if you like something. if you get anything make sure it is urethane. Fiberglass sucks and never fits right.

my only prollem with putting like a cobra body kit on is...well its not a cobra...to me its like a white guy trying to be black or visa versa...the same goes with saleen and roush pakages...when it comes down to brass tax...its still a gt...or a 6...unless you spring to buy one of those spectacular looking factory modded mustangs we all fantasize about...be true to the car you have.
