Thanks guys! I email KB and was told that my car could handle up to about 430 rwhp is this right? they said any more and would need to build the bottom end. i just love the sound and performance the KB 2.1 is said to offer. plus the kit is a all in one deal. their site says 4999 for the intercooler kit has anyone seen different prices? thanks again this forum ROCKS!!!!

have yet to see different/better prices. yes its all in one inclusive. idk about that rating....buddy dynod 440whp at 10psi on a stock engine and just blew it. just an fyi...other variables may have existed....like if it was beaten on prior to install or lead foot all the time with it installed....but just a thought.

yeah i blew mine but was hydrolocked some how. I would go with a 9 psi pulley and wouldnt push it. Get exhaust and that stuff just to help that side breathe better. oh yeah and get wider tires that will make the biggest difference... traction will be a myth with stock tires haha.

I made 405 hp 415 tq when i had with a 70mm tb, 90mm maf, bassani x and catback, all their kit (intercooled 9 psi), 3.73 gears and 275 35 17 tires.

Check out this intake from straightline performance. WEBSITE01 I never dyno'd it but it would be hard to outflow a 4" intake.

A 4" cai is bad ass ass,but it will only flow what the tb will allow.

blackstang, never took my car to track or ever will because with a conv. anything faster than a 13.49 you need a roll bar,not putting one in.I would love to Run the 1/8 but don't know if a rollbar is required.

Kb's intakes house from the filter to the maf seems like it would cause resistance... and the elbow after the maf closes more towards to tb. I have a 75, would it really matter much? Im just thinking with a solid intake instead of a hose it would give the maf a more consistent reading.

Hell yeah it does. I got rid of the KB drainage pipe because every time i would move it at all it would need a tune adjustment. The JLT intakes i have will fit with the KBs.
