"Pull the radio out and remove the screw on each side and the 2 on the back. Pop off the cover and you can see the CD's. The part of the CD changer may have not fully engaged the CD it wanted to play and it is stuck not knowing what to do. Press on the CD that so that the part that spins the CD is locked into the center of the CD. Leave the top open and plug in the CD player. It should start going through all of the cd's then if the CD error is gone it will play again."
Found this info at Mach 460 6 disc cd changer problems - Ford Mustang Forums guess i should add this too "you have the take off the trim piece around the shifter(which is all just clips) and then you can take off the big trim piece around the stereo which is two nuts on the bottom then you can just pop off the rest with a small screwdriver there is 6 clips total on that. Once you do that u can slide out the stereo and you will need to take of the faceplate which can be done with a small torix screwdriver then u should be able to acess the cd's"

can you get the cd's out without hooking it up? i got pissed and just took the whole damn unit out of mine and put a different headunit in, i'd hate to go through and unhook it all just to get some burnt cd's out but if i can just take the screws out i will.

Not to steal the thread.... but who makes a good dvd head unit that fits in the stock 460 hu spot.... Like, a dvd HU player with a screen, not a pop out screen, a fitted one...
