i'd recommend nitto 555r drag radials. ive heard they're the best all around street-use tire so i put two on my 17x9 rear wheels. they grip real good with stock termi power. heres one of my launch vids.

this is after a good burnout, and 17 psi.

Here's some 15" tires for the street strip that are 28". Problem solved. M&H's hook like a MF too.

You could also step up to a wider tire if you want.

Sorry Tom. I don't know why I was thinking 15's. Here's a link to the 17's in aq 28" tire.

how much power are you looking to hook up?

i do not recommend taking 17's to the track, especially if your high HP, your just gonna spin too.

if your looking to do it on the cheap, get some 99-04 16" V6 rims, and put hoosier QTP's on them.

I've run the M&H's in the past and had great success with them. I have the Nittos now, because they were easier to get when I needed them.
