if you want to do it on the cheap, you can do:
03/04 used cobra crank $250 03/04 used cobra rods $300 CP pistons $700 thats good to about 900HP or so. add a set of Billet I beam rods, and your capable of 1300HP. but then you also have rings, headstuds, mainstuds, gaskets, machine work.

forged H beams can get you over 1000, cobra rods can take over 1000, but cobra pistons cant. plamsa moly rings are needed to

the crank is cheap man, just replace it - there is basically no "cheap" answer to this,

power wise, or $$ wise? i sure hope its not $$ wise, because your not rebuilding your motor for that, its going to cost you more than that in machine work.
if you want to support 650-685HP then the cheapest, and one of the best ways to do it would be, 03/04 cobra crank, 03/04 rods, and manley pistons. your right under $1K, then you need rings, headstuds and main studs. and machine work of course.

Forged H-beam rods and a good forged piston and if budget allows, a forged crank, and you are good to go. Use ARP main and headstuds when you re-assemble.

+1 i see alot of people forgeting the studs and rings... its the little shit you forget about that bites you... you wouldnt want a bolt on you rod or something snapping off that would be a no go |

You do know that with all that extra hp, ur gonna have to upgrade ur tranny and probably change ur rear end to a 31 spline.
Many people forget about all that until it goes south on em.
