Brakes


hey guys my car went in for inspections today and it needs brake pads i told him i would do it so now i need to get a set of pads for the front and back where would i find the best pad or even the stock oem pads for a good price? They are stock brakes my car is an 03 GT i also have the tool to do the job.

Bought mine from autozone, if you want cheep stock ones that work, For a full set of front and back I think it was like 30-40bucks.

yea man just go to autozone or something. I think i spent about the same as ugmul. your going to end up wearing em out anyways.

any auto parts stores ... most stores will also have upgrade pads too (I just put ceramics in my pontiac)

autozone sucks! get some hawk performance. yeah, they are about 80 bucks, but you will stop that pony quicker, and less to no noise rather then those anoying squeeking kind at autozone.

I have hawk and they don't stop any better and they squeeked just as much as the stock ones did

i used ceramic on mine an i didnt notice any differance in the stopping

Buy the Brake Best Selects. I put those on all the mustangs I work on. Never had any problems with them.
