Question

Will the Ford Racing Cobra Brake Upgrade Kit work on stock 2001 gt wheels?


Im looking to upgrade my stock 2001 mustang gt oem brakes
11" Front Brake Rotors
10.5" Rear Brake Rotors
to the
Ford Racing Cobra Brake Upgrade Kit (Front and Rear)
13" front rotors
11.65" rear rotors

and im wondering will these work with my stock 2001 17" wheels ?

You need at least 18s to clear the calipers. I've got the upgrade on mine from Baer and run the Y2K Cobra R 18s. The caliper is pretty close to the wheel too!

you don't need 18's

I had the Cobra kit on a 01 mustang with 98 Cobra r wheels which are 17's

Im a little confused....i thought the cobra came with 17" yet you recommend 18s

All you need are 17s for the cobra/bullitt brake upgrade. Most Baer and brembo will fit too.
