Midpipe

I want to order a new midpipe, I have stock headers, on summit theres 3 fittings, stock, shorty and long. The stock ones are shorty's correct? So could I get midpipes to fit shorty headers? Also any suggestions on what to get?

depending what mid pipe your getting...some wont even go upwards toward the headers(exhaust manifold)

do you want a full exhaust?
headers?

if you plan on getting headers, your better off just buying them now. same with exhaust.

if your just looking for a mid pipe with nothing else i have no idea.
but if you want a full exhaust, i could find a link for your 02 GT with an H pipe or X pipe and exhaust and send that to you

i just put a slp xpipe on mine and its a 3 piece set up and u can disconnect the front part if you get long tube headers in the future or hook all 3 pieces up and use ur stock manifolds. theres some other companies that have a similar set up also. go with an offroad x pipe you will love the way it sounds.

I went with the Bassani X-Pipe for the stock manifolds...They will work with the stock manifolds or shorty headers...When I bought mine it was catted...But I cut them off and put in test pipes so now it is an off-road x-pipe...

how are all of you running Off-road X-pipes? in Ga they are illiegal ?do you get mil eliminators? how do you get your tests done?

its illegal in all 50 states... but some states such as Florida do not inspect cars. I am registered in Florida so I run a prochamber.

they are illegal everywhere.... ALL 50 STATES
but some states such as Florida and Michigan do not have an inspection so unless a cop wants to look under your car then you are ok. if you live in a state that has inspection just keep your stock mid pipe and change it come inspection time.

in my opinion an uncatted exhaust setup makes mustangs way to loud.
