If you are not having any troubles, why introduce something that is foreign to the motor? I'm not talking about cars that have problems. I'm talking about people who just go and use the stuff on a whim or a regular basis. Seems very foolish to me. Now, if you have a motor that has carbon buildup problems, then Seafoam or one of the other top engine cleaners like GM might just be the ticket. Your motor, it's parts, it's gaskets etc was designed by Ford to come in contact with oil, antifreeze, etc. It wasn't designed to come in contact with Seafoam. Will Seafoam kill your motor? Probably not but if things are running smoothly why take a chance? What are the long term implications of running that stuff through your motor? Does anyone really know? I doubt it. If your pouring this in through a pcv hose or other vaccume line just be sure to take it slowly, hydo locking the engine can bend a rod quicker than shit on a running engine, Just take it slow and easy.

Just pour it slowly and you aint gotta worry bout locking it up..... If it was such a big problem it would say be careful not to hydro lock your engine on the seafoam can
