tire sizes

Hey guys, I'm new to the forums and I have a question to ask for the more knolegalbe of you. I have a 2002 GT with bullitt wheels and I want to upgrade to larger diameter tires. How big of a Tire can I put on my car without any aditional modification. I want to install 315/17 in the back and 285/17 in a front with 10.5 in wheels (rear) and 9in wheels (front). Is this possible without flaring the fenders and do i need to upgrade the suspension first???

Thanx to all of you that reply

the 315's will fit in the rear but the 285's are too much for the front.

most people run a 255 in the front for an after market tire but I prefer the 275.

welcome to the forums
