Wheels and tires
Ok guys need some help decieding on what to get for my 03 black on black GT my wheel got dented and cause a bulge in the tire so now i need a new rim and i am think about getting 4 new ones. I need sizes and opinions i am looking for a wider tire possibly and possibly a stagered look. I like the corba 03 rims any picture and coments are appericated.
NO 20 inch rims thats to ricey for me especially on my year mustang |

My fav combo is either 17x10.5 with a 315 wide tire out back, and a 17x9 with a 275 wide up front, or an 18x10 with a 305 wide out back, and a 18x9 with a 275 wide up front.

cobra wheels with 275's up front and 295's or 315's out back. I like the FR500's but they are so over done now.

Does going with a bigger tire effect the performance at all besides traction

It will add friction and a touch of weight. But it will give you better traction so it balances out.
