yes i spray off the line. i am shooting a 125 wet shot. run a WOT switch, and a window switch set at desired rpm's. of course have bottle pressure up to atleast 950 psi for optimum performance. i launch around 2800-3200 depending on conditions and track prep.

i don't know why its such a battle. its exactly like what sweet said, what works for one doens't work for another. I'm going to run 3:73's in mine and i'm staying N/A, if sweet says he is running out of gear i believe him, thats why he switched. his preference.

O yeah, if he was having traction issues there wouldn't be enough tourque to lift his front tire off, thats usually what traction does!

i dont know why its its a battle either. i am not trying to parade around sayin 4.10's are horrible and dont get them, i am stating preference. if a person likes 4.10's great, if not so be it. i try to stay neutral and respectful, i dont see why others cant atleast try to do the same.

I totally understand your reason for changing gears. It makes complete sense to me

i'm doing 3:73's cause its practical and makes sense. if you dont have a race car there isn't a point, and even if you do, it's whatever works best for you. i'm glad the 3:73's are working out better for you sweet. i hope to have mine in by the end of april

SWEET2K are you going to be able to run a 12 second pass n/a with the 3.73's? I have a feeling your going to have to launch the shit out of it if you do. My buddy who has 4.10s and all boltons. He launches at 5,000-5,200 rpm on his hoosier qtp's and runs 12.7's.

The answer is quite simple. Gear the car according to your combos powerband. This is the main reason that One particular gear is not for everybody, each persons combo is different. I had 3.73s installed when I first purchased my car and they were great for my bolt on combo, but when I did my new motor w/ HCI the 3.73s were just not the appropriate gear. I have since switched them out for 410s.

Hey Sweet, I'm picking up my car from Lujan Motorsports later. 3.73s and Aluminum driveshaft are being put in as we speak. And I jusy ordered a MAC O/R H to go along with the 2 chamber flows. That should sound....Nasty............

You guys think what you want, but my car runs 12.70 N/A, 11.67 on a 100 shot and 11.55 on a 150 with 4.10's. Sweet hasn't been in the 12's N/A or the 11's on juice. But as you say he really know his stuff. When Sweet bests those times with his 3.73's then I'm wrong.

I personaly watched him knock on the door to 12's N/A last year. With a busted tranny, 245's up front on stock 17" wheels, with pretty much just no adjustable control arms as his suspension upgrade. Trust me buddy, he can run 12's N/A with his setup. I have also driven his car at the track with 4.10's in it and with his old 3.55's. For his car 4.10's aren't workin, especialy on the bottle. Just because he says he doesn't like his mustang, doesn't mean he doesn't know his shit about them. He knows his car and knows the differences when he makes changes. And it still comes down to driving style. If nothing else, the 3.73's fit how he drives it at the track and around town, that in and of itself with a good driver, will make the car faster. And having people PM you about your mod list, doesn't mean you do or don't know shit.

we think what we want, you think what you want. 13.2, busted trans, on both 3.55's and 4.10, 87 tune, etc not too bad. 12.1 on a busted trans not bad either. no one here give 2 shits or a rats ass on your times and your ongoing arguement. if weather holds off next weekend i will post a slip of 12's n/a, and 11's on the bottle. i will do it on my fat ass 245's on the front and stock suspension.

I never said your car didn't run well. I did say it would run better with 4.10's and I believe it would have. Now that you have made the statement above I will hold you to it. Run the numbers and I will be the first to congratulate you. If you fail , I will have NO MERCY

i know you never said that, i am saying that the car will take to the nitrous with 3.73's better. the 4.10's will be missed for the full n/a runs, but will pay off with the bottle. i am just hoping the weather will hold out.
