yeah those things they have at clothing stores that measure your foot...

well the other day I had to go get measured for a tux for my senior prom. the lady asked me to put my foot on there and I told her theres no need, its a 16. She didnt believe me so I had to waste the time and attempt to fit my foot on the measuring thing... basically my foot goes end to end...

IT FUCKING SUCKS.

I havent been able to buy shoes at a retail store since like 8th grade. I have to order em off the interweb

Lulu:

My statement still applies... I know alot fo girls that are that tall or taller... like my girlfriend. shes 5'8'' hahahaha

Maybe im wrong on this but the only times I have to match up the rpms when down shifting is when im driving a semi truck and thats only to get the gear to go in. On my Mustang I just down shift and release the clutch slowly and it slows the car down and gives the exhaust a very nice rumbling down sound. If I want to downshift faster I ease off the clutch and give it a little gas at the same time. I have never had the need to heal and toe it.

With the semi truck You do need to do this to get the gear in right, give it a little gas to get the gear out then all you do is pick up the rpms and shift to a lower gear.( this is without using the clutch) If you do use the clutch, as you are slowing down push the clutch to release the gear, release the clutch, rev up the engine, push the clutch, put it in gear and ease off the clutch witch will slow you down.

Not sure why you would need to do this in a car but maybe im doing it wrong, if its proven necesary I will change it up and drive the right way.

The idea of heel toeing isn't for slowing down, rather to have a smooth transition while changing gears when your headed to a corner and keeping the car in the powerband

What the hell. How do you fit it in there. Your pedals aren't all lined up evenly right?

Explain how you get it in there. DO you rotate your ankle a ton or something?

I thought it was easier to heel toe with a bigger foot...

Its real easy lol...

no massive rotation or anything. I do have aftermarket Billet pedals tho. with urethane for foot traction

i may be able to get those soon...

my best friend just totaled his mach 1... Ima have pics of it soon, but its a miracle that guy is still alive... the car is unrecognizable. his caback and mid pipe are in his trunk bent to peices, his engine is completely ripped apart, the roof is bent and peeled back, its just horrific...

he said if theres anyhting I can find on it to save I can have it. i.e. shift knob, pedals, the only 2 rims and tires left on the car...

Wow glade your friend is ok, thats rough. on the other hand thats pretty sweet your goign to get those parts. I mean those things are expensive when you add it all up. Shift knobs, pedals all that add up in price. for me its like do i want a mid pipe, other performance parts or visuals.

yeah I told him that Ill try the mach 1 shift knob out for a few days...
I have kinda big hands and i dunno how the tiny ball will fit ya know?

so i told him if I dont like it ill give it back to him and he can sell it or keep it as a momento to tell his kids (when and if he has em) when not to get mad at your gf and go driving your dream car at fast speeds when your shitfaced...
