I'm pretty sure this should go in visual, but meh.
What do you people think of a targa top on a mustang?

IMO i would never do that for a few reasons:

1. they leak(unless factory)
2. they weaken the overall rigidty and strength of the body to resist torque
3. it doesn't quite go with the lines of a mustang(IMHO)

I don't care for the look of the targa.

and it would weaken it some & even more so when the tops off, which is the point of the thing in the 1st place. Those tops are only gonna help when they're on.

could have just said convertible?
besides a classic look is a fastback, they dont have those anymore, besides, if i wanted a classic mustang, i would have bought one.

i like it also but without all of the other body parts that guy has on that cobra. unless your auto x-ing your car, your never gonna notice the rigidity difference from it. its gonna hurt in that department but i htink it looks good

I think that looks sharp. Nothing wrong with carrying on where Ford left off. I wouldn't worry much about stiffness- The convertibles are much weaker than a targa top car would be, and I haven't seen any problems with them.
