My 99 gt. just pushed out some trouble codes: P0174, & d262 ,does anyone know what these mean, and how to correct the issue? Any info would be great.

Not sure about other one.. never heard of a d262. But is the car tuned? Chances are the o2 sensor is bad. When was the last time it was replaced?

What can I do to fix this? I have an SCT Livewire tuner that can clear it at any time, but I dont want to just put a "band-aid" on the situation if there is something really wrong>

You can log the long term fuel trims and if they are off by more than 5% you have a bad o2 sensor or an exhaust leak. If the other one is close then chances are the tune needs to be dialed in better. Sometimes if the tune is off it will only throw a code on one bank even though the other bank is right on the edge of throwing a code.
