The gears are swappable...But for 31 spline axles you need a 31 spline diff...

Do you already have a 31 spline diff?

Or are you trying to make a 28 Spline Diff into a 31 Spline Diff?

As far as i know you cant do that...

I have never heard of it but they are the same size. I wonder if you could just change the spider gears?

Why not just use the 31 spline unit the way it is, instead of transplanting the 31 spline spiders in the 28 spline diff?

Other than being courious which I'm too. I guess it make it easier to reshim since you could put it back together the same way it came out.

I have the usa alloy axles and I'm very happy with them.
