. He will sell me a bassani catted x pipe for $420. What do you guys think about the price? and how do you think it will sound with the american thunder flowmasters?

I hope that is catted...
I gave more then that for my bassani when I first bought it...It sounded great with my flowmaster cat-back... Its quiet at idle and opens up nicely while you are in the throttle... |

Bassani makes both a stainless and a aluminized versions of the catted x. That is a good price for the stainless. There is nothing wrong with the BX version (aluminized) other than it won't stay as nice looking. I ran one with my Borlas until I went went with long tubes and it sounded awesome. I picked one up used for less than $175.
