noo... haha, i know they have the 5 speed option but what type of 5 speed?
I'm going to buy a shifter, the app's differ in 99-04

Its alright, the Tremec 3650 is better, thats what Ford switched to in mid 01

If you are going to swap tranny's then get a T-56. They're a pretty tough trans, plus it's a 6 spd .

Yea, if you need to replace it, I would look at the 3650 or T-56 if you want to go that route

Go to the American Muscle site, they have a gouge on how to tell what tranny you got in the car it's a code on the door tag.

it's not as simple as you would like it..

you DO have a T-45.

if you have 400 HP I would upgrade your clutch as well.
I believe a stock T-45 is supposed to be good for 350ish HP.
as long as you don't beat the crap out of it every day you shouldn't have any issues with it.

i have great clutch. just wondering about the internals.. i have a stout rear diff... good driveshaft..

I think the roller assembly must come next tho.. i hear it's good to 450, but if i'm 400 rearwheel.. i'm pushing it obviously..

400rwhp is fine on the stock internals.. your right around 9 psi I assume?

just make sure your tune is good.
