Discussing is my Speedo off??? in the 99-04 Forum. i got 18" with 275's in the rear..would i have 2 recal ...

i got 18" with 275's in the rear..would i have 2 recal it?

i would say that it is a little off due to having a bigger profile and rim.

Your are prolly rolling on 245/40-18 and the difference between that and the stock 205/65-15 is less then 2 mph difference on the speedo. The stock tire profile is about the same difference as the bigger rim combined with the lower profile tire.

my speedo is off and i love it. i never pay attention to it now i just go what feels right. i used to be trained on my speed and stayed trained on it but now that its off i dont worry anymore if im going the right speed. its driving freedom

I'm guessing you never calibrated your speedo after the 4.10 install? If so the only thing that sucks about that is all the additional miles your going to be racking up on the odometer.
