Gills, I do like that hood. Ive never seen it before. You should cut that sucker out. It would be badass.

Yea you should definately cut it out....It adds 15 horsepower with the ram air.




HAHA just kidding but I had mine cut out and I think it looks good. I want to fab some kind of a screen to put in it but have had no sucess so far.

WHAT? Maybe at 125 mph? Ram air is a joke ulness your moving fast enough to create PSI. For the everyday driver, 45 mph is not enough to create noticable pressure.

As far as the screen goes, I used part of the mesh left over from my cover craft "disaster" cover I bought. I secured it with a few small screws and some metal tape. Its never came loose... even at speeds over 115.

Either Cobra R or Saleen hood either one will give you an agressive look without getting too extreme for your vert, unless that is what you are lookin to do.
