So im rebuilding my engine, and set timing and all, spins fine everything is good, but the right bank tensioner while spining, the piston will compress allowing slack along the chain guide. From what i know these are oil pressured so when there is oil pressure there wont be slack. But wanted to double check before putting it in the car. Thanks guys
That happens. I made a homemade primer and pressurized mine as much as I could. And as mentioned above the ratcheting mechanism helps too.
