Hello all, Has anyone figured out how to tie in the PLX DM6 into SCT livewire so you can data log AFR? I have contacted their customer service and came up short changed they said they were not familiar with the SCT livewire stuff. I'm about to the point of scarping it and moving onto another brand that is easy to wire up to Livewire
No but I emailed PLX and they are ****ing worthless when it comes to tech support they wouldn't even call me when I requested a call back instead of a useless email with no information.
I may just buy another brand but I need to find one that is easy to wire up.
What I'm trying to figure out is do you have to ground out the Analog 1 Ground if your using Analog one as your input? I know now which wire to get the signal from the PLX and have it ran to Analog one pin 3 on the SCT fire wire. So do you have to ground analog one or the main ground on the SCT?
I will check for you in the AM I can't remember
as far as SCT side all you do is plug in the IEEE cable between the connector your making and the sct device. than from the device is the USB to PC . it has a built in gnd loop.
