Drive train problem
I have an 03 GT Convertible v8 with Automaic transmission. It has 22600 actual miles. I notice the other day that if I push it a little when it shifts from 2nd to 3rd there is a rumble sound that lasts for about a second . It only happens when you push it a little. When driving like an old man it seems to be ok.
Does anyone have an idea what might be wrong???? Mikes03 Last edited by Mikes03; March 21st, 2008 at 08:48 PM. Reason: mistake in the duration of the problem |

You talkin about the metal type sound? Cuz I'm gettin an almost metal type sound. It sounded almost like my engine was knocking, but it's either from my tranny or from my differential. I don't know what it is, but I get a sound when you get on it just a little bit at low rpms for a quick second like everything tightens up and goes, but then after that its fine or if you gently get on it.
I'm interested to see. |
