Recently my car developed a misfire or skip. My first thought was a fouled spark plug, so today I pulled the plugs to have a look and they all appear to be ok, but one did have some coolant or oil on the tip.
I noticed that the two cylinders on the driver side by the firewall had a small puddle of either coolant, oil, or gas in them. I don't know if gas ran down onto the plugs when I removed the fuel rail. I can also see that the top of the two pistons appear to be fairly clean compared to the other 6 which have carbon on top of the piston. Would the clean pistons be from burning coolant or oil?
The last time I drove it, it ran just fine. I noticed the misfire while it was idling in the driveway last weekend and it ran rough when I tried to drive it.
