Hurst Classic Shifter

Check out this new old style shifter I just put in. It has the Hurst short throw base with this retro looking top end.

Thanks man, I had to have one when I first saw it- it reminds me of the stick in my dad's 56' Fairlane.

i talked to a rep at dark horse this weekend at the NMCA finals and they had a polished alum. one for a 6-speed that i think is gonna look sweet but not on a chrome shifter like that.

probably be better to use the stock boot with a polished knob. <-----ROFL!!

Looks good. Mine is similar. I take some grief about it - "look how long it is....looks like a truck shifter"

I don't care. I love the way it looks and generally when they are bitchen about missing a 2nd-3rd shift, I am smiling because I didn't miss mine.

I will admit that it's a little longer than most shifters, but it actually puts your arm in the perfect position to really throw down on third gear.
