look at mdvaldostas power and what his times are. theres lots more proof out there other than his car. i didnt mean to say z06 for mid 12s...my bad..a little tired.i meant to say the regualr c6 runs mid 12s and the z06 can run 11.8ish. and the cobras didnt have a good drag set up with that IRS that hurt them at the 1/4 mile

i dont care about the track, i mostly drive on the highway and i just want to be driving, either come up to a vette or SS or them come up to me and me just blow them out of the water. Thats mainly what i want.

whoa, 412 running 11.47 thats impressive. i was way off then.
but hes probably one hell of a drive too.
then with his stock motor he should be happy and safe with about 450 maybe 500hp.
and beating those new z06's
that car is still an animal tho, its beat the 911 turbo and the ferrari f430 on a track.

=/ a vette is pretty agressive at high speeds like the high way...out the whole in a 1/4 you'll take him but at a 60-70mph roll thats top end power, and aerodynamics. corvette wins in both those. i'd say u'll deffinitly need 450-500hp on a highway race...

but i wouldnt race on the highway either..

im not sure what those cobra motors are good for...hopefully someone can fill us in.....i would say get around 400-450hp and set ur suspension up right and you will have plenty of fun witht that power.yea those z06s are pretty bad id love to race one when i am done building my car and see the look onhis face when i fly past him

yea keep it at the track. 20 bucks to race is better than getting your car impounded or killing someone

nice empty highways...i was on one of those friday...if it were for the other guy i raced being 70ft in front of me and me having the balls to dip from the scene i wouldnt have a car....on a nice empty high way of course

look at joes car, hes pulling mid to low 11 with 412 rwho, mine was around 450 and went low 11. you give me a 500 rwhp mustang, with a decent suspension and stickies and ill give you a 10 sec 1/4 mile. people are getting 9 sec passes with a just a little over 600 hp. if i can drive my car very well id like to hit an 11.9x with n/a and thats with only 300 rwhp. theres more to droving then just power to weight ratios. they do mean a shit ton but dirver and suspension and other things factor in a lot at those speeds

the pre 03-04 terminators had the same cracked metal rods and pistons, so your still limited to around 450 rwhp
