No, you are missing what I am saying. The SES light from an O/R mid pipe comes from the rear 02 sensors. The tuner will allow you to turn them off. So you will not get those codes. Therefore you don't need MIL's. What I am saying is if you get a code from something else, like a misfire or something, you will still get a SES. The tuner turns off the sensors so they can't throw a code, it doesn't turn off the light its self. Make sense? Hell i may be getting you lost. LOL

we had a guy here inspect them an he would make u turn on the wipers an sticker it,then one day a unmarked cop came in an he done that,an well u know the rest of the story

No, I understand perfectly. I thought that you were saying that one will still allow the SES light to come on to indicate other problems while the other would kill the light permanantly. I understand, I just read it wrong.
