Procharger P1sc + 3 core I/C

I was leaning toward the KB 1.7 used from a guy. I got a great offer from another guy on a used p 1sc with the 3 core intercooler. I wanted the KB more but also have read that centrifugal SC's end up being faster cars.?.? Not sure if this is true but anyway.... I want between 400-415 hp out of my stock 00 GT. We have a reputable tuner that installs these units and tunes them. My ? is.. will this procharger get me at 400 or so HP? and how is the torque curve? some say there is no power at low RPMs. Any info on this will help me alot on a decision. Thanks fellas.

400-450 is easily achieved with either the KB or the Procharger. It comes down to where you want the power. The KB will make power quick but not pull as hard on the top. The procharger will be less of a bottom end grunt compared to the KB but will pull harder up top.

BLAH BLAH BLAH...LOL great numbers man, glad ya like the setup! Oh forgot to mention earlier...if you havent already, make sure you put a trans cooler on since your running an auto.

The P-1SC is a great entry level setup. Some argue that the roots style like the KB can be a bit more harsh on a stock motor. Go whatever you deem as a personal preference, and whatever you can get a deal on.

Do you know which setup will yeild faster 1/4 miles times? I would think the centri with the power up higher would help more once ur out of first, but im not sure.

Were those S197 GTs, new Edge GTs, or pre-new Edge SN95 GTs?

Depends on alot of things realy. Gearing, what tranny you have, Can you launch hard, other mods you have, what psi each blower is running at to make the same power. If you are seeting you car up for FI "AND'' drag racing, you have to decide how you want you car to behave and how you wanna make power. All in all you can set up either one to run as fast as the other (to certain point) at those power levels. shooting into the high HP numbers the centri's usualy start winning out due to their effeciency on the top end

Not a whole lot man, just a 75mm T.B./Plenum combo, off road x pipe & flowmasters. Then the usual boost stuff...42lb injectors, focus pump, Lightning MAF, and a good tune.

Personally I like vortech over all the others. Well power wise. You cant compeat to the KB sound. As far as dyno # i put down 425 rwhp and 400 rwtq with the mods in the sig. I am looking to get 440-450 after I buy the intercooler and TB and plenum
