Need some opinions
I picked up a running 5.4 3v engine yesterday for $40. I couldn't pass it up for obvious reasons. But I don't know if i wanna try and stick it in my 2000 GT. I've seen the adapters to convert the fly by wire and throttle body, and cam adjusters and I am considering it. I just really want to know if i can get some patriot 2v heads to fit. I couldn't find any literature on the subject.
(engine back story)- Out of a 05 f-150, mileage unknown, oil sludge in the heads Im rebuilding it to clean up and use or sell Thanks The B man |

sorry for the late responce i didn't have computer access until now. NO its not a hot motor i found it at a car lot about to be junked. I just happened to be in the right place at the right time.

interesting... i think that it will all come down to the block itself. personally those heads are made for a smaller piston. the cylinder heads wont hold what the pistons are willing to give. i think you'll have blown spark plugs and head gaskets. definately try and trade the patriots for descent 3v heads. or part out the 5.4
