Lowering Springs

i was thinking of getting some lowering springs for my car.prolly the eibach pro kit. i was all sold on the idea till a buddy of mine told me i would lose traction off the line if i lowered it. he said i would have to relocate the control arms in the rear to offset the lower ride height???is any of this true?i love the lowered look of stangs but not if i am gonna hve to do a bunch of other work to get my traction back. also the eibach pro kit lowers it about 1.5" right? thanks.

i think the prokit is 1.5 and the sportline is 2.0...yea u'll lose a bit of traction but notta whole lot i dont think...besides if you get aftermarket controll arms that should take care of the problem...the real issue is the fact that it will be a bitch to align...you'll have to get caster camber plates and those i think can get pricey...when i lifted my truck i also had to get the plates. i wanna put the prokit on mine but i think the steeda springs by eibach are only like 159...thats a bad ass price as opposed to the prokit wich is 249.

i got the h&r sport springs put on my car yesterday and i dont notice a big loss of traction, its deffinately worth the looks, i was getting sick of my car and now that its lowered im very happy and cant stop looking at it, over all i payed 250 for the springs 190 for the mm caster/camber plates and 275 for the front install and i did the back myself. well worth the money and im very happy with the outcome. i dont have pix on here yet but they should be up soon.
