need sct tuner/ dyno tuner in baton rouge?

who is the guy on here that sells the sct tuner? cant remember. also is there a dyno tuner in baton rouge louisiana? i live in shreveport louisiana and the closest is dallas texas (3 hours). My family lives in Baton Rouge so i wouldnt mind driving down there even tho its a lil further. and my mom will pay for my gas to come visit. hahaha. im getting a p1sc put on my 00 gt as many of you know but need the sct tuner best applicable so i can get it dyno tuned. anyone heard of lonestar performance in dallas texas? 300 dollar dyno tune. sounds decent.

Keep in mind that dyno tuning will require you to drop your car off. Depending on how busy they are/any hicups they run into it could take up to a week to get the car setup right.

With that said, i'd recommend getting a wideband O2 setup and do the email tuning. But like i said in another post, i prefer that method...i dont care to see hp numbers...only number i care about is a/f ratio.

i was not aware that it could take a week. well he said 300 dollars for a dyno tune that will add a good bit more hp. but ur right about the a/f ratio. gotta be safe cause i dont want to buy another motor. but i do want the car around 400 hp or so. dude, would the wideband setup be able to get me up to 400? im not sure i understand the wideband o2 setup and emailing tunes thing.

you should easily hit 400rwhp with a wide band and a good e mail tune

yes the email tuning will get you to the numbers you want. Ok simple answer to your O2 question...stock O2 setup only measures a narrow section of the data stream, wideband measure the entire band. When a dyno shop tunes your car, they hook into the O2 system and use their own equipment that can measure everything so wideband would not be required for a dyno tune...it is a must for email tune.

When you do an email tune, you datalog the car just like they would on a dyno but on a "closed" course. Then you email them the results and they tweak it. Email tune can still take some time to get the bugs worked out, but in the end its essentially the same...only difference is that dyno is a controlled environment, email tune is real world conditions.

a wide band 02 sensor IS a tuning device.

Added bonus of the wideband O2 setup is that you will accurately know at all times of your A/F ratio...that is why you will see most modded cars running this setup.

so the best option is to do the wideband o2 and the email tunes. how much is it to get a good tune and the whole ordeal?

and there is joe to offer his services lol.

I highly recommend Joe at TrickTuners he knows his shit and does a great job for a MORE than great price. $40 for 2 years of unlimited tunes, cant beat it.

Now i have a question about the wideband, dont you need to install something to use that?

yes.

you need to weld a bung hole (yea.. haha bung hole) to your exhaust to hook up the 02 sensor.
other than that you can run the gauge like a normal install.
