take out the front sway bar.. it helps with traction... the key is gettin a good 60'. on my 13.0 pass i cut a 1.82 60' i think.... if i could do everything over again.. i would get in this order... o/r x with magnapack catback. 4.10s , 31 spline axles and differential, dyno tune, shifter, slicks. you can go 12s EASY with that

i don't think you will be able to do it with your mods, especially with the little experience you have racing. I see a 13.5 in your future.

front sway bar delete is free... and you will need to take it to a shop for axles, gears, and diff change.. with 31 spline axles it means you can launch off the rev limiter without breaking anything..

to go fast your going to need sticky tires and your gonna need to launch a lot higher than 2000. my 2 step is set at 6500 and i side step the clutch from there. but i wouldnt suggest doing that untill you have built rearend

A more conservative car won't be running 11's or 12's

whats a front sway bar lol. i drove mine around on fats and skinny's without front or rear sway bars and car drove fine. It doesn't make that much of a difference once you get used to it. But i don't see why this thread is even going this long, the guy already said that he lives 2 hours away and ain't gonna drive that far to race. So i am just gonna say he has a 15 second car.

It amazes me the number of people that want to run fast but don't want to do the necessary work involved to do so.
