aight well tornado watch and flood watch canceled that... anyway i just did a search over at MPH and he said in a topic that he will not email tunes for supercharger applications.
only dyno tune. Same thing the tuner in B.R. said. i hope somebody will. how does everyone else do it? Seems like dyno tuners are only in BIG city's.

yeah weather here in oklahoma is getting pretty nasty also.
Found a couple good articles to read on the stuff... Installing A Wideband Data-Logger In A Ford Mustang - Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords Magazine Innovate Wideband O2 sensor - Air/Fuel Ratio Monitor | FordMuscle Magazine MPH and other companies wont email tune without wideband datalogging..but someone should be able to give you a basic canned tune. |

lol, yep you really must live in Louisiana. what do you do with the coons? bounty on them? pelts? food?
oh and if you want to do some more research on tuning, go to Google and type in dyno tuning vs street tuning...you'll find all sorts of info on it. but it looks like your pretty set on doing the dyno tune...so just get the basic tune from Joe (trick tuners) and run that till ya get to the dyno. |

put them on the smoker at the shop. be lunch for whoever stops by. use the hide to train pups if we have them. #1 reason.... Fun as hell watching some good hounds work. I used to hunt walkers but i lost my best walker. I got a great bluetick female now. Freakin CHAMP! haha
trick tuners can pass me that tune with me just having my tuner or do i still have to get that wideband stuff and all. the reason im leaning toward the dyno tune is because it seems more easy to just let them do it and be done with it. im not the best when it comes to computers. Give me a hound and i can teach it to hoolahoop if you want but i will not get far with a computer! (above) exaggeration!

never had coon meat before...i'd imagine it to be a dark meat; greasy and salty. blueticks are great dogs! i'm not a hunter...well not yet atleast...one of these days, i want to go deer hunting (been saying that for 17 years lol)...i'll make it my goal before i hit 30...just over 2 years to go so i should meet that goal, lol
Man the datalogging stuff might sound intense, but its really really easy...its just pushing a few buttons, drive the car, then email the files to Joe. |

Coon meat can be the above but if done right its good. Can be tough and dry but has to be done right. and being in louisiana there are plenty of colored people that will eat them up all day. my coonhuntin buddy is a black guy and he eats em up. He has good dogs too. yeah bro im only 23 and i hope to have a SC car by the time im 30. hahahahaha (at this rate i wont) haha
Anyway, im to the point i dont know what im going to do. haha. all these posts and im still undecided. the dyno tune just seemed easy for the fact all i need is my xcal and car i believe. im so lost bro and its starting to aggravate me. If i did go to the dyno tune would all they need be my car and XCAL3? no datalogging wideband or any of that? |

I'm all about trying new foods...within reason. i'd probably try coon, but doubt i'd find anyone making it out here.
dude the shit gets overwhelming very quick...i bought my car used and it had a procharger on it...i was lost for about a year trying to figure out all the stuff about it....newer cars are a completely different beast from a good ole carbureated car...old cars are very easy to tune, newer cars take a new way of thinking...its all really amazing on how its done now. I just got my basic tune from Joe, hoping i have time tomorrow or saturday to put it in and datalog. If you want i can make a basic write up on how to do it, or if you are still really having questions you can give me a call, i'll try and walk you through it. |
