Nitto 555R's Grip

ok so i have read that the nitto 555R's arent too bad in the rain if you arent stupid....but im wondering, is there a chance that my car wont be able to handle the grip that these tires give. And what size should i get for 17x10.5.....315 or 275?

Your car will be able to handle it I would say...I run them on mine with no issues...

I would say 315 but remove the quad-shocks...

dont remove the quads unless you have aftermarket upper and lower control arms. im running 315's with steeda aluminum upper and lowers and left my quad shocks on.

Nitto's are kindof a cross between true drag radials and street tires. They hook better than any street tire but not as good as most dr's. You'll like em if it's your daily driver, they last a helluva lot longer than BFG's and the like. Definately get the 315's (pretty sure the quad shocks will have to come off to fit them though, no prob just get aftermarket lower control arms and you'll have no need for the quads anyways).

I think he was referring to the grip and possibly breaking axles...

These tires are nice tires but are not sticky enough to hurt anything really...

I'm a little worried about the strain on my axles if I get drag radials. Especially with 4:10's and a s/c....
