If you are getting a good CAI, then I would say no, but some of these kits don't give enough additional power over a high flow filter to warrant the extra money to buy them. I am saving for a JLT, so I went the K&N filter route to hold me over til I get it.

if you have money get it if you want but on a stock car you can either get a CAI or just a drop in and save almost enough for gears or a lowering kit

If you are talking to me, it won't be stock when I get the JLT. Gonna get the heads ported and cams at the same time. Its either that or a quad turbo setup with a roots style s/c on top. Haven't made up my mind yet. Definately would not waste my money on a cheap cold air intake. They are mainly for looks.

the factory intake is a cold air intake.just put in the k&n and remove silencer for now add a cai when you increase the power.
