Finally time for tranny work... need advice

ok well as everyone knows i have had a broken blocker ring for 4th since i got my car out of the body shop. well i was just on the highway, hammered into 4th bang, no more third or fourth gear, and you can feel it hitting the broken fork when you try to go into 4th, my question is where is the best place to buy a full t-45 rebuild kit, where can i get the new 3-4 fork, might as well get the 2-3 fork, and i also want a new gear for 4th, im sure the teeth are chipped as f*** by now from 4 doing lord of the dang dance whenever it wants.

if upgrading do the shift keys as well. you can get all the upgrade parts from promotion powertrain. i had them do a built trans for me.

ok i found the rebuild kit on there for like 175, but will i need the syncro kit as well, and can i buy the shift fork assembly fand the drive gear for 4th f rom them? anything else i will need, i know tailshaft seal, fluid shit like that but i mean of parts i have to order...

their rebuild kit comes with sync's if my memory serves me correctly. it depends on what all you want to do with the trans to which parts you buy. you can get a basic kit and have a good trans, or get all the parts and have one that is race ready.

if im gonna do im gonna do it big...just my way of life...and what about shift forks...anything better than stock? could the previos owner partially messed up the forks because there was no short throw?

you can get the forks treated, promotion offers that too. it only takes one bad mis shift to mess up the forks, it could of happened at any time.

new clutch fork
TO bearing
T-45 rebuild kit
hopefully the cryo 3/4 shift fork

any other suggestions...shift keys? and is it worth the money to do the carbon fiber syncro kit? i need some answers quick here im about to call them

just call and talk to walt or wally. they will answer any questions that you are unsure of. they may be hard to contact, it took several attempts to get all the details worked out on my trans.
