I've never heard of it before but personnally I think it would be pretty cool. That way you could fool other racers or most importantly the red and blue lights

well the only reason it works with the zo6 is becasue when you get on the zo6 it opens up some butterflys in the exhaust to get more flow which makes more power. so unless you fab some kind of exhaust up for the stang itll never work, and then youll have to some how put it in your wireing harness and would just be a pain in the ass

Put in a set of cutouts. You could run your stock exhaust and when you get ready to run, open them up and scream.

I've heard of those before, but never for a stang. I have a buddy that has them on his WRX. I would think that on a stang you would run into backpressure problems with this.

JC Whitney has a simplified version of the same idea. It's just a Y collecter with a dump and a push/pull hard wire to open and close it. With it open your pretty much running open headers,(and dealing with some nasty blow back), and with it closed you run your exaust through the pipes. That's the idea anyway. The ones I've seen in action sound like open headers with them open and a leaking exaust when closed. If you don't have a built, cammed motor I don't imagine you'll like sound of your stock engine with open headers.

Go with a set of cut outs and put on electric dumps. the cable cutouts work but they leak pretty bad and you have to keep puling the cable tight again. theres a company called badlanze HP that make awesome sets for dual sets on stangs its like 300 for everything and theya re bad ass i saw a pair ast the track and now i gota have em. its like going from stock off the showroom floor to open headers in two seconds. check em out http://www.badlanzhpe.com/ awesome cust service to realy helpful and nice people

Chris J, those warlocks are cool but you still have to crawl under your car to remove the cap. the beauty of the E dumps is you can flicka switch an be roarin... if you like the warlocks you can us them but instead of the cap put a E valve on it and its the same thing. i saw a set of dual outlet flowmasters set up like that and it sounded pretty bad ace

I have messed with both the electric dumps and warlocks before...

I just like the warlocks sound even when it is muffled...

I might install dual e-gates on my car...But am still not sure...

Oh and with the warlocks if anyone buys them or runs them...

Take 2 pieces of metal dowel and weld them into a T and then weld that onto the circular cut-out covers...So it is easier to get ahold of...

Oh and i meant to mention if you are going to do the E-cutouts go with badlanze not QTP. badlanze has a warranty for 3 years QTP doesnt and badlanze is a smaller company with excellent cust service they will spend hours on the phone with you just to make sure your happy i cant say enough good about them. Im orderin a pair as soon as i can stop spending money on my race motor for my sled... never enough money
