Check Engine light yet again!

Ok... well i had this problem when i first installed my JLT CAI about 4 months back. I installed it, and the check engine light came on. I had all the VAC hoses connected properly and everything was fine.
Well the stupid ass thing is, i was putting in my subs the next day and unplugged my battery, so the check engine light went off. I took it to the shop b/c at that point i didnt have a tuner, and they ran some codes and everything and nothing poped up...

Well today, i took the air filter out to clean (it also consists of taking the MAF out along with it if you're familuar with the JLT)... well i clean it, and put it back in and the Check engine light comes on!!! My tuner is at my house in FL and I have to wait until i go back down to get it.

What do you think this is??? I somehow think its associated with the MAF idk.... i have noticed, ever since i put in the JLT, at idle, my car has kind of a very very very sligh buck to it, and the exhaust sequentialy backfires (also very very quiet)... nobody will really notice these feelings or noises unless they're paying extremely close attention... but knowing my car, i know it isnt 100% right.

Opinions anyone?

Yeah... i'll do that... hypothetically, what if that doesnt work? any other ideas?

I wont get to that until tomorrow afternoon... but i have to drive to work tomorrow, is there a risk with running with a dirty MAF? running lean possibly?

o damn, it is... i knew it wasnt good, but i didnt know it was as bad... will it cause hydrolocking or too much fuel in the cyl?

Either way, i know a/f isnt so drastic that it is actually gonna cause damage... i'd be able to hear it, or smell it... but if it were my guess, it sounds a little on the rich side.

when you run rich
you chance washing the oil (with the extra gas) off your pistons.

ya kinda want that oil there for obvious reasons bro.

I sure hope! I'm gettin the 3.73's in as soon as i get the tuner back, they were supposed to go in last week, but i forget it lol.

I didnt feel anything on the canned tune tho, i'm sure i'll feel some gains on the 93 tune... I was told that I should be around 270rwhp with the tune and all my mods... we'll wait and see lol, i'm only sittin at 260 right now.
