new here, wanna swap exhaust on 2003 Mach01


Whats up everybody, i have a 2003 Mach01 and wanted some advice on exhaust systems that are good. I dont drive it everday, but i do take it to the trsck when i can. All i have done to it it a roush shifter, and a k&n intake system. I want to get headers and exhaust so any advice is good.

orangeRcode has an awsome mach, and he runs hooker headers, and bassani x pipe i think youll have to ask him. his car sounds amazing and ruins great too

you should get some gears and a tuner!! could be one of the best mods you could ever make for the price!

grab yourself an off road x pipe and some flows. If you want headers go with Kooks. great fit, but very pricey.

not that its not a good first mod cuz it deffinitly is but if hes askin for exhaust then just recommend an exhaust or w/e mach 1 exhaust hes tlkin bout

thanks for the help, i want to do a lot to this car but in a long period of time (trying to buy a house). Also want to get inkake manifold, throttle body and msd ignition after the headers and exhaust. Im new to all of this for a mustang so any help is good help.

i could be wrong but i dont think our cars use ignition systems like the ole 5.0's do with a distributor and such...i'm not even sure how the current ignition system works...i've always wondered what and if MSD made any parts for the modular 4.6...

I've got a bbk off-road x-pipe with a stainless magna-flow cat back system and I haven't heard anything that has sounded better. I've heard flowmasters and dynaflows and they weren't anything special. H-pipes have a deeper sound while the x-pipe has raspier throaty sound.
